Youth Held for Stabbing Cow to Death
Worley Puffinberger a tall youth near the West Virginia line was held in Frederick county court on a charge of maliciously cutting a Jersey cow owned by Mrs Myrtle Haines. Bond set at 1000 dollars with father Jacob Puffinberger as surety for his circuit court appearance. The cow died the day after suffering a 10 to 12 inch stomach wound.
