Cmdr Arend A Nydam 60 of Siler Route died yesterday in Winchester Memorial Hospital He was born in Groningen Netherlands April 23 1912 and served in the Royal Netherlands Navy He later became assistant Naval attache at the Netherlands Embassy Washington He and his wife Geertrui Anna Catherina Vanaalsburg resided in Winchester He leaves five children Gerard Arend Hand Anna Gloria and five grandchildren Burial is planned at Shenandoah Memorial Park A Hymn Sing and memorial services are scheduled for the coming days in local churches Open services and guest ministers will mark the remembrance summary
