Richmond Va May 8 On April 1 there were 99 projects under construction on the state highway system with a total cost of 9 360 000 dollars. Amount paid 4 400 000 leaving 4 960 000 to be paid New allocations 1 750 000 this week funds from December 1925 and 1 200 000 transferred from maintenance will provide 3 100 000 more to put under way and total 8 060 000 of work this year 1926 Weather permitting most will be completed in 1926 with 80 to 85 per cent for hard surfaced highways.
