English teacher charged with murder in Martinsburg WV
Jefferson County High School teacher Harry Lee Johnson of Ransom WV was arrested at 11 45 PM at the Charles Town state police detachment on a Berkeley County murder warrant for the stabbing death of James L Payne. Payne, an Martinsburg Journal ad salesman, was found stabbed in his locked apartment. Police say more than one person is possible but not currently part of the investigation. A bond hearing is expected today.
