Republicans Gain Seats in Winchester and Nearby Towns
In yesterday’s municipal elections Republicans won Winchester City Council a new seat with J Thomas Kremer Jr joining William Mote and Ben Dutton. Berryville elected Elbert Magruder mayor, and Boyce chose a grocer on a write in vote. Front Royal turnout led with 64 percent.
