Winchester native dies in Pittsburgh after assault
L Marshall Baker, longtime Winchester figure and head of the WPA recreation department in Pittsburgh, died at Shady Side Hospital from abdominal injuries believed caused by an intruder. Huidekoper Found Shot In York Factory
Prescott Huidekoper 52 president of the American Insulator Corporation at New Freedom was found fatally shot in the York factory office. Coroner Zech ruled suicide. He lived in Ruxton Maryland and was son in law of Mrs Hugh M Nelson of Clarke County. He had three daughters and one son. Daughter Page Huidekoper has served as secretary to Joseph Kennedy in London.

Route 50 Adjustment Considered South of Boyce
