Richmond March 19 The alcoholic beverages control board announced no wine or beer licenses will be granted until ten days after March 22 and objections may be filed. Notices of intentions to seek licenses published already are considered fulfilled and need not be reposted. Governor Peery praised the new board. Application forms are being printed and will be sent to applicants.

Boy Whose Leg Was Fractured Is Improving
Improvement was reported today in the condition of Eugene Sirbaugh 10 year old son of Mr and Mrs J Branson Sirbaugh who is under treatment at Memorial Hospital for a leg fracture sustained last Saturday afternoon. The boy was crossing Fast Piccadilly Street near the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad passenger station when struck by a taxi driven by Holmes Wisecarver of the Yellow Cab Company. He was knocked down but not run over. Mr Wisecarver stopped at once and rendered all possible assistance. The boy's right leg was fractured below the knee.

John Buhl Dies of Pneumonia in Shenandoah Co
John H. Buhl aged 65 prominent Shenandoah Valley farmer machinist and lumberman died at home near New Market after a pneumonia illness following a sawmill accident.
