Final Tributes Paid To Memory Of Late Dr. Tull
Funeral services for Dr. George W. Tull of Indianapolis Ind were held Saturday at 11 in the home of Mrs. James L. Robinson. The Society Friends conducted the service with Will and Godfrey Miller singing Abide With Me and Haven of Rest. Burial followed in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Pallbearers were Phil H. Gold Albert Robinson Hunter Robinson Sam Brown Howell Bond and Ansell Solenberger. Dr. Tull known for learning humor and musical taste, formerly lived in Greenfield near James Whitcomb Riley and shared a friendship influencing his humor. He left many loyal friends through a long life marked by honor and kindness. Floral tributes came from Indianapolis Winchester and Frederick County.

George Wilson Quarles, father of Garland R. Quarles the Handley High School principal, died at his Ruther Glen home aged 86 after a month with pneumonia. Born December 5, 1847, he lived in Carolina county, worked in farming and railroad construction, served in the Civil War, and belonged to the Baptist Church.
