Red Cross fund campaign opens in Winchester area

Auto and Store Robberies Bring Jail Sentences
Two Martinsburg men arrested Saturday night for larceny from the Safeway store and from cars in Winchester were sentenced in Police Court. Robert Emmett Grund received 12 months for cigarets, six for grocery thefts, and six suspended for other items. Woodrow Wilson Starliper got similar terms with a six month suspended sentence. The arrest followed officer Maurice Lake spotting them after a ketchup bottle dropped in the A and P lot.
