The United States has commandeered the entire fir log and lumber output of the Pacific northwest. After war needs are provided for, essential industries will receive supplies, and remaining lumber will be distributed among commercial buyers. Prices for west fir lumber were fixed today by the War Industries Board.

Miller, a Fr Rick County resident, was imprisoned for four months for the Crisman killing on the Miller farm near Front Royal road. He is to be released to his father’s home in the county, with his sentence effectively ended.

She was missing in the morning and found late afternoon with evidence of suicide by weighing a sack with a stone and jumping into the cistern. Funeral will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the house and burial at Green Hill Cemetery Berryville.
