Two County Soldiers Return Home From War Prison
Two Frederick County soldiers formerly prisoners of Nazis arrived home this week. Private Harry G. Andrick and Private Warren Ridings, son of Harry Ridings of Middletown, were taken prisoner in 1944 and 1945 respectively. Ridings was interned five months before liberation and returned to Baltimore, where his wife lives, after living in Middletown. Andrick, prisoner for seven months, was liberated on April 12 and alerted his parents Mr and Mrs Charles E Andrick of Middletown on Thursday.
