Death of S. M. Campbell at Chestnut Grove aged 99
Stewart M. Campbell died at his Chestnut Grove home in northern Virginia at 9.40 p m on Saturday in his ninety ninth year. Born October 26, 1835 in Frederick County he spent most of his life farming here. He survived by three daughters 22 grandchildren 50 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral at Chestnut Grove Methodist Church Tuesday at 10 with Rev C H Anderson and burial nearby. six grandsons act as pallbearers.

James I Larrick's Sudden Stroke Ends Long Career
James Isaac Larrick, 74, of Middletown Virginia, died at his home Saturday after a sudden paralysis attack. A prominent local businessman and civic leader, he helped found Middletown Agricultural High School, served on the town council, and supported Grace Methodist Church. He had recently returned from a Florida illness and previously led Larrick and Larrick with associates including the late Dr. George W. Larrick. The death follows the widow M. L. Larrick’s passing two weeks earlier.
