Guerrilla attacks kill two missionary teachers in Rhodesia raid
In Bulawayo a Salvation Army school vice principal Miss Pallson survived a raid by 10 to 15 gunmen that killed two young British women teachers. The fighting marks another deadly strike in a six year guerrilla war that has closed hundreds of schools and killed 45 black teachers. The campaign targets white missionaries and disrupts church education efforts amid regional turmoil.
