Six Chicken Pox Cases Reported in May

The Frederick Winchester Health Dept records six chicken pox cases in May. Other county cases include Rocky Mountain spotted fever two mumps and German measles one. A spotted fever case treated at Winchester Memorial Hospital from The Plains. Parents urged to check exposed children for fever and seek a physician if illness signs appear. He stated 75 percent of affected children can become productive citizens and emphasized training aids in walking talking and self care. First Woman Named to Serve On School Board
