In four jurisdictions area voters favored Andrew P. Miller over Henry Howell by margins in Winchester Frederick Clarke while Warren shunned him. Miller carried Winchester Frederick Clarke by 2539 to 1108 and Warren went 960 to 805 for Howell. Charles Robb and Edward Lane won other key races with Lane dominating Frederick County.
