Thos L Dunn president of the Dunn Woolen Company Martinsburg W Va was honored with a birthday party by his eight children at White Sulphur Springs near Winchester yesterday afternoon marking his seventieth birthday. About 45 guests attended and toasts were given by A C Nadenbusch and other associates with Dunn replying. The group traveled from Martinsburg in automobiles and returned home last night. Dunn is a prominent Martinsburg citizen born in Brucetown nearby.
Fred Foreman, serving three months in city jail for operating an automobile under the influence, appealed to the Corporation Court from the police court sentence. He was released on a $300 bond after the incident in which his drunk driving allegedly struck a car carrying Mrs. John W. Rosenberger and her children.
Martinsburg West Virginia June 14 B F Humston and father of Berryville Virginia were here and the elder Humston secured the Ford car stolen from him in Winchester last Friday night. The car was found days ago by Traffic Officer William Barber at the Williamsport bridge abandoned by the thief or thieves.
