Tricia Nixon and Edward Cox secured their Washington marriage license by mail four days before the wedding. The license, issued after a Friday application and $2.50 fee at the DC Bureau, was accompanied by a White House physician blood test. Cox returns for the wedding week, amid questions of who pays for the ceremony and a potential antiwar protest nearby that police planned to allow as a vigil by Quakers.
