Clarke Seniors Awarded Diplomas at Clarke County High
Ninety seven Clarke County High School seniors marched beneath the arch to receive diplomas. Class President David Bittle Loope won the $500 Winchester Evening Star Leadership Award for 1967. Other $500 awards went to several graduates, with scholarships from VFW Post 9760 and the Clarke County Senior Woman's Club among the honors. Joan Marie Chapman received the new Newton B. Shingleton Scholarship of $500. Valedictorian Linda Lorrvid Loope and Annette Loope each received National Beta Club stars.

Winchester Students Pay Tribute at Mount Hebron Cemetery
