Funeral of Myrtle Light Held at Kernstown
The funeral of the late Myrtle Massie Light was held to 4 p.m. Wednesday at her parents home in Kernstown. The Rev E W Brubaker officiated at Mount Hebron Cemetery where she was buried. She was 38 and had suffered for months from a complication of diseases while remaining cheerful. Survived by husband Lester C Light, parents T B and Massie, Kernstown, three sisters Mrs Arthur Boyd Keyser West Va Mrs Edith Pannett and Walter Boyd of the county and one brother Harle B Massie at home. Pallbearers included Stanley Ginn William Branner Charles Clark Howard Lineburg Luther Pifer and Carl Wigginton. The family thanks friends for kindness during illness and death.

Mrs. Allee R. Kiser, 60, stood trial in Westminster on charges of murdering her husband J. Frank Kiser near Harney. The defense claimed insanity while State's Attorney W L Seabrook presented the Christmas eve shooting as motive amid alleged turmoil over the husband’s affair with a neighbor also aged 60.
