In Boise Idaho several neighborhood dogs broke into the state prison poultry pens and killed about 400 chickens not eaten. Warden Ira Taylor said most of the birds were salvaged for food and the incident altered the prison menu for a time.
Madison Lodge No. 6 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows will hold its annual memorial service and grave decorations at 3 p.m. Sunday in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
