The Berryville High School elementary department presented the operetta Down Among the Fairies to a large audience. Miss Ruth Berlin and Miss Hilda Levi trained the 16 young cast introducing fairy characters amid cedar décor. Puck and the elves drew praise as the tale of a fairy longing for chores contrasted with Mother Nature’s duties. The feature also notes the Impeyan pheasant’s status as an attractive but impractical game bird due to care and disease issues.
