Death of Bishop Luther B Wilson After Conference Address
The Right Rev Luther Barton Wilson retired bishop of the New York area died in Baltimore after illness interrupted his duties and a collapse during a Kansas City Methodist Episcopal general conference address. Funeral plans were pending with Mount Vernon Place Church to host simple services and Bishop McDowell expected to officiate. He is survived by his widow son Luther Barton Wilson Jr daughter Mrs George Thomas and sister Miss Anna Ward Wilson, all at his bedside.
