Earl Jones Turns Berkshire Junk Into Thriving Antiques Empire
In Great Barrington Earl Jones built a sprawling antiques enterprise from a five acre spread of clutter. He left real estate in 1965 to open a shop with his wife Moxie, growing to a staff of a dozen and fleets of trucks buying and selling collectibles from Canada to Florida. The Hallock School dorm became their base as they expanded through multiple buildings.
