In Memoriam Mrs Daisy B Baker One Year Gone

In sad loving memory of our Dear Mother Mrs Daisy B Baker who departed this life June 4 1948 The Golden Gates were opened A gentle voice said come She calmly entered home Your pale eyes and pleasant smile Waited home for a long long while If only God would let you know How much we miss our home You had an interesting subject waiting home for all With good advice for large and small Till memory fades and life departs You’ll live forever in our hearts We think of her in silence Few eyes see us weep But many a heartfelt tear is shed While others are asleep Deep in our heart Has a picture of a loved one laid to rest In memory’s frame we shall keep it Because she was one of the best By her Children and Grandchildren
