Timber Hill area west of Gore sustains heavy hail damage to about 400 acres of apple orchards reducing the crop by roughly half after a three minute storm. Large Poultry Farm Buildings Blown to Bits
A windstorm demolished two large poultry houses on the S. P. Henshaw farm north of High View Timber Ridge, causing about 5000 dollars in losses. Fourteen birds died out of 1400, with 120 and 115 foot structures torn apart and roofs carried away. The gale also ripped the Will Oates barn roof nearby as a hailstorm hit apple orchards.
