Visitors tied to new plan for steel production
Mr and Mrs Emil Wahr and Mr and Mrs Walter J Hirth returned to Homestead Pa yesterday after visiting Mr and Mrs C L Hirth. Wahr is father of Mesta Company president Harry Wahr. Mesta recently shipped to Bethlehem Steel a new electrically operated mill for rolling beams. The system finishes shapes from ingot in a single heating, a major advance in rolling mill practice. A similar mill operates at United States Steel Homestead plant.

Final Rites For Mrs Ferdinand Rohr
The funeral for Mrs. Ferdinand Rohr was held at 3 yesterday afternoon at her sister Miss Alice Hardy's home on West Boscawen Street. Many friends attended. floral tributes adorned the casket. The Rev. Dr. F T McFaden of the Presbyterian Church officiated. The choir sang Home Sweet Home and What a Friend We Have in Jesus.
