Widow Kremer Dies After Long Life in Winchester
Mrs Louisa Kremer a Winchester resident at 501 South Market street died quietly Monday afternoon in her ninety second year. She spent her life in the city born September 20 1890 and witnessed many national events from Jackson through twenty presidents. She was married January 15 1865 to George Kremer Jr and raised a family at the Market Leicester corner home. Her mind remained clear to the end and she was described as literary and fond of good books.

It is named the Carter building in honor of Shirley Carter of Winchester, a hospital board member.
