Funds Sought for Phase II Renovation of St Thomas Church
Historic St Thomas Church enters a second restoration phase with external repairs and a new roof needed. Dr William McCoy says about 25 000 dollars plus free labor are sought to re plaster outside walls and rebuild the bell tower and return the bell from storage. About 16 500 dollars has been raised for interior work since 1967 including foundation, new floor, pew refinishing, roof repair, new windows and doors, and a heating and air system.
