Reclamation Centers To Open In Winchester Tomorrow

The first municipal reclamation centers serving Winchester will open tomorrow at three Grand Union locations and an A and P on Amherst Street. Volunteers led by Mrs. Louise Speakman initiate the six month trial with containers donated by Jim Wilson of Kwick Klean Refuse Co. Inc. The city may fund ongoing operation at $50 monthly per container if successful.

Supervisors Move Frederick County Board to New Building

The Frederick County Board of Supervisors will shift meetings on June 14 from the Clerk's Office to the A&N Building at Nine Court Square.
