Warren County bonds overpayment and recovery actions

Warren County faces total recovery of 55 943 53 from Aetna Casualty and Surety Company and National Surety Company on the Warthen bonds. The Supreme Court of Appeals of Virginia ruled overpayments by both companies and set amounts due from supersedeas bondsmen totaling 25 273 89. The court ordered cost payment and pro rata liability among insurers and bondsmen with Decree to satisfy within thirty days or execution issues.
