May Get Priority In Federal Road Money
A proposed $250 million federal aid plan would speed up highway construction in defense centers and military zones. Virginia would gain priority under two fund parts: regular aid with matching funds and an unallocated $150 million for access roads to defense sites. An additional $2 million for flight strips and $10 million for advance engineering are included to strengthen the national defense road network.
