Injured Citizen Hit By Auto At Braddock and West Boscawen
C Fred Barr was struck and dragged 40 feet by a passing auto driven by Holmes Doleman at Braddock and West Boscawen streets around 10 15 last night. He was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital with a fractured collar bone and head injuries. Doleman was released on security until Monday morning July 13 after officers said he lost control while trying to avoid Barr. Clarence Simmons and Eugene Parker were present. Barr is a longtime local photographer in satisfactory condition though in pain.
