Charles Town Highway Rebuilt Right of way wide six mile project
The Charles Town pike is being rebuilt from east of Stephenson over six miles with a 50 foot right of way and 27 foot roadbed. Work began last March and surface treatment is planned before cold weather. A segment near the Opequon will have no construction due to right of way issues with Carroll Clevenger and George Crawford.
