Virginia Parachutist Dies in Fall
Harry W. Murray, a 22 year old aeronautics student from Farmville Virginia, died at Deland Airport after his main parachute tangled with his face and arm. He waited too long to deploy his reserve chute which opened only at 300 feet as he hit the ground. His mother watched from half a mile away.

25 Hurt in Derailment Near Hopkinsville Ky
