Twelve United States naval seaplanes finished a record over water flight covering 2,553 miles from San Diego to Honolulu in 21 hours 48 minutes. The squadron faced very bad weather last 300 miles and landed at Pearl Harbor after circling the harbor 39 minutes.

Four Held In Theft Of Car
Four men were arrested on automobile theft charges and turned over to Federal officers for trial in Harrisonburg. The suspects are Theodore Nicholoson 24 of Shockeysville Millard Fincham 22 of Berryville Charles Ritter and Hubert Campbell of Highland Avenue in this city. The stolen car owned by Miss Mary Sherman was found abandoned on Gray Avenue after a chase that started near the George Washington Hotel on North Cameron Street and led toward Martinsburg then Charles Town. Ritter is linked to a Berryville armory robbery. Nicholson and Fincham have prior theft or shooting records.
