Miss Brown Dies At Hospital After A Long Illness
Miss Beulah Mae Brown former superintendent of Winchester Memorial Hospital died at the hospital at 6 15 am after a long illness. She had come to Winchester from Clarksburg West Virginia last March and suffered an embolism two days before Christmas causing left side paralysis and heart failure. Born in Rouserville Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Lewis Brown and the late Mrs. Brown. She trained as a nurse then worked as instructor and superintendent in several hospitals including Mountain State Charleston Beckley Penn Yann Clarksburg and Winchester. Survived by father Sam H Brown sister Mrs Rachel Beard a niece and a nephew. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery, Winchester.
