Bruce Dusenberg of Upperville injured in a Millwood auto crash yesterday morning rests as comfortably as could be expected at Memorial Hospital. X ray shows fractures of leg and arm. Dusenberg was race horse manager at Blue Ridge Farms owned by Admiral Cary T. Grayson and Colonel Samuel Rose. Admiral Grayson called at the hospital to inquire after his employee and expects to visit in a few days.

Dr Jerome Quirk Dies in Dayton of Pneumonia
Dr Jerome T Quirk a 45 year old native of New York City died in Dayton Ohio from pneumonia contracted about a week earlier. He served as a lieutenant in the medical corps in World War I and later worked in the Veterans Bureau at Dayton. He is survived by his widow Annie Darlington a daughter Anne Elizabeth and siblings in New York. The Quirk family had visited Winchester last summer and he had recently fallen ill.
