The Chicago Teachers Union and the Board of Education reached a tentative contract after nearly 12 hours of bargaining in Daley's offices. Daley announced the dispute was resolved for the sake of students. Voting on the agreement is planned for Sunday by about 20,000 teachers. 533 schools were closed today.
