Modern Etiquette Advice on Hats and Social Calls
In elevators a well bred man removes his hat in hotel or apartment building rides but may keep it on in office or department store elevators. Do not discuss unpleasant topics at table or elsewhere as back fence gossip. A woman may invite a man to call, not solely wait for his suggestion.
