James Buchanan Violet 73 dies after stroke in Winchester
James Buchanan Violet a well known painter and paper hanger of Clarke county died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a stroke suffered Sunday. He lived at 402 South Braddock Street and was active in Sacred Heart Church and Friendship Fire Company. He is survived by his widow two daughters three sons and ten grandchildren. A requiem mass will be held January 3 at Sacred Heart with interment in Catholic Cemetery.
