Washington lawyer Arthur Pugh dies after illness
Arthur Pugh of Hampshire County West Virginia died Saturday in Washington after a lengthy illness. Born March 26 1854 he was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1878 and practiced there before moving to Washington in 1897. He served as special assistant to the Attorney General and later on the Interstate Commerce Commission staff. He married Louise Anderson in 1885 and is survived by two daughters Mary and Louise. Funeral services in Washington planned with burial in Salem Virginia.
