Brown Contract Stitching Inc of Lawrence Massachusetts and Ethan Brown treasurer and GM pleaded guilty. Stewart Green a prominent Winchester businessman died suddenly at Memorial Hospital around eight o'clock this morning after an emergency appendectomy led to complications and pneumonia. His son William E. Lovers Lane Deaths Prompt High School Probe
Joliet Illinois February 28 two Joliet Township High School students Ruth Virginia Underwood seventeen and William Engimann were found dead in a park road automobile. Coroner Brannon said Underwood died by strangulation and Engimann by carbon monoxide poisoning hours later. Engimann a star athlete and co captain of the football team. The car was found with the engine running windows closed radio playing and gas nearly exhausted. Brannon sought investigation into school conditions and the deaths.
