Beverley Wright in Serious Condition After Auto Crash
Beverley Wright son of Mrs. Joseph Wright and manager of the George Washington Garage is in Georgetown University Hospital in serious condition with multiple fractures and severe injuries after a car wreck near Fairfax four miles from Winchester. Companions Ralph Rosenberger and Lawrence Hollis escaped with minor cuts and bruises as the Packard skidded on a snow sleet night and overturned, leaving Wright unconscious until aid arrived.

Indictment 15 Returned Against Milton Berkowitz
The grand jury found no true bill on Milton M. Berkowitz of New York on a highway robbery charge tied to a calf theft. Berkowitz and bride Rosie Goldstein were married February 6 in New York and traveled south. on return, he allegedly picked up a calf near Winchester fairgrounds. He was arrested in Martinsburg and brought to Winchester. Los Lovett recovered the calf. Two other indictments were found against Dr. D. B. Ingram of Hagerstown Md for false pretense and Hugh Rudolph for pocketbook theft. The grand jury list included J. N. Good as foreman and others. One indicted man is reportedly preparing to plead guilty.
