Wardensville Boy Taken For X Ray In Philadelphia
Winifred Kline of Wardensville accompanied his four year old nephew Master Gordon Kline to Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia for examination after a supposed peanut lodged in his throat. X rays showed it was lodged in the esophagus causing inflammation. Dr Kline and the boy left for Winchester to undergo an operation today.

Fire causes severe burns in two local incidents
Mrs. Marguerite Fowler, about red years, suffered burns to her face head neck and arms when an explosion occurred after she poured coal oil into a stove and struck a match. Lowe 65 of Shepherdstown West Virginia, a watchman at the Virginia avenue railroad crossing in Hagerstown Maryland, was may be fatally injured when struck by an automobile driven by Melvin Ripple Martinsburg West Virginia.
