Workmen cleaning a cess pool on Berryville Avenue found the body of a 10 month old white girl. Coroner and police reported no conclusive evidence of foul play while noting decomposition and lime in the pit. Mrs. Molden Dies After A Long Illness
Mrs. James Molden of Clarke County Virginia died February 7 at her home near White Post after long illness. She was 655 and had been bedfast since December. Survived by her husband, two marriages produced three and six children, including Leonard Kate Virgil Charles John Lloyd, and daughters Mrs. Oscar Baldow Mrs. Virgil Presgrave and Vivian Malden. Also four half sisters and two half brothers plus a Rileyville Deavers family lineage. Funeral held by Rev. L. J. Manley with interment at Mountain View Cemetery Rileyville.

Frances Marion Hershberger 86, longtime Page County resident and farmer, funeral held yesterday at Old School Baptist Church in Luray. Burial followed at the family cemetery two miles south of town. W A Talton of Knoxville Maryland spent yesterday on business and exhibited a double page from an old Ladies' Home Journal containing photo engravings of Sheridan's Ride. The images were captured by Frances Benjamin Johnston and include photos from Winchester and locations south of Middletown where the ride ended. Talton found the page among old papers in his cellar.
