Vernon Eddy To Head Park Board and City Projects
Vernon Eddy was named head of the park board as finance measures proceed. The adjourned council approved a water storage reservoir plan by Norton Bird and Whitman with changes to siting and elevation under Handley Trustees. The funeral for Garland Chrismore six son of Mr and Mrs B Chrismore was held at 10 30 this morning from the Wash Miller place near Milroy s Fort north of town. Interment followed at Granger s Cemetery near Albin with Rev J F Morgan of First Christian Church officiating. He died Thursday from pernicious anemia after a ten day illness. He leaves parents one brother Edward and two sisters Beulah and Ola.
