Washington February 16 The White House urged that railroad wages not be cut further and the request will be reviewed by rail executives. Leaders of the industry note Roosevelt’s proposal would be set alongside a 15 percent wage cut due July 1, while a prior 10 percent reduction was already agreed last fall.
