Major A Wil lis Robertson urged Virginia to develop game resources through constructive management and adequate restocking of streams to provide recreation for at least 500,000 non residents. He noted high license revenue, rising budgets, and strong fishing potential in Bath County and across the state.

District Nurses Report Busy January Visits and Activities

The District Nurse Association held a meeting led by president Mrs. H. D Fuller with many members present. Nurses Josephine F. Arthur and Evelyn C. Dean logged 336 visits in January across prenatal postnatal infant and school groups, plus a tuberculosis clinic with 29 patients led by Dr. W. L Dunn.

Health Officer Stricken With Parrot Fever

Washington reports Dr Charles Armstrong bacteriologist of the Public Health Service has psittacosis after handling dead parrots. Attendant Harry B Anderson died of the disease as both men aided in curing efforts amid a psittacosis outbreak. In Baltimore Dr William H Stokes bacteriologist with the city bureau died from psittacosis after trying to stop its spread and assisting with serum trials.

Frank L Buckley longtime hotel manager and civic figure died early this morning at his home 23 South Stewart street after a severe apoplectic stroke. He was about age 60 and survived by wife Constance Strickler Buckley and two daughters Constance and Helen. Funeral set for Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church with interment at Mount Hebron Cemetery.

President Hoover and party fished off Alligator Lake Florida hoping for sail fish after yesterday's seven foot catch. The Saunterer carried the group north of Key West with Justice Harlan F. Warning Against Expansion Given Valley Farmers

U S Department of Agriculture experts urged Northern Virginia farmers to avoid expanding non agricultural ventures and to run operations on a sound business basis. The outlook predicted little price change this year with peach prospects the brightest due to reduced orchard destruction and limited expansion elsewhere.
