Miss Louise Forney of Winchester died Saturday afternoon at the Wood stock home of her brother in law T J Lindamood following a five week illness. She promised to rear her sister's children and devoted years to that task. Surviving are her brother Robert Forney and half siblings Stewart Forney Samuel G Forney Julia Forney Vera McMillan and Fred W Forney. Funeral Tuesday at Woodstock with burial in Mount Hebron Winchester cortege to follow.

State Officers Arrest Local Man With Much Liquor
Robert R. Jenkins of 314 Smithfield avenue was arrested by State Prohibition Inspector F S Hall Jr between Marshall and Warrenton while transporting two five gallon cans of illegal liquor. He was taken to Warrenton, fined heavily, and deposited a 1000 bond for his car. A Warrenton hearing is expected today to determine the car is disposition. Jenkins has a police record in this city for liquor law violations.

Henry Strother Found Dead in Fauquier County
Henry Strother a 25 year old unmarried member of a prominent Markham family was found shot to death seated in his automobile on a road near his home in Fauquier county Virginia. The gun chamber lay empty beside him and investigators considered whether the death was suicide or accidental with no clear motive detected. He is survived by his wife and several siblings including Edward Strother of Delaplane and Dr. Thomas Strother of Brunswick along with three sisters all residing at Markham.
