Brownwood Texas February 10 H A Jones 40 a tenant farmer dies becoming the third member of a seven person family to succumb to poisoned bread eaten at breakfast yesterday. Authorities seek the responsible party and an empty baking powder can found on a road near Jones home is under study as evidence. The two young children also died and the bread is described as containing a deadly poison.

New York February 10 The New York County grand jury indicted seven officials and directors of the closed Bank of the United States. Named were President Bernard K Marcus Vice president Saul Singer brother Herbert Mitchell chairman C Standley Mitchell Isidor J Kresel counsel and director A S White director of Bankue Corporation and H W Pollock general counsel. Six indictments cover felonies and misdemeanors with exact felony charges not immediately learned. Kresel special prosecutor testi fied before the grand jury and was reported ill with laryngitis.

Sixty Nine Feared Lost In Ship Collision
